The compound has further shown neuroprotective efficacy in models of Parkinson's Disease, HIV-Associated Neurocognitive Disorder (HAND), and methamphetamine addiction, where it has been observed to reverse cognitive abnormalities, reduce astrogliosis, and inhibit the activation of mononuclear phagocytes.
