Drug intelligence / Profile preview
An-Zi decoction is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by the Shenzhen Maternal and Child Health Center for the treatment of recurrent abortion (recurrent pregnancy loss). The therapy is based on the "Collaterals disease Theory" and employs the "Bu-Shen Huo-Xue" method, which focuses on tonifying the kidney and invigorating blood circulation to address underlying kidney deficiency and blood stasis believed to cause pregnancy loss. In clinical research, it is evaluated both as a monotherapy and in combination with low-molecular-weight heparin to improve pregnancy outcomes in women with a history of multiple miscarriages.
