Analtram

Analtram is a combination analgesic product developed and marketed by Lapi Laboratories. It consists of two active ingredients: tramadol, a centrally acting synthetic opioid analgesic, and paracetamol (acetaminophen), a non-opioid analgesic and antipyretic. The drug is indicated for the management of moderate to severe pain. Tramadol provides pain relief through mu-opioid receptor agonism and the inhibition of the reuptake of norepinephrine and serotonin, while paracetamol provides additional analgesia likely through the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the central nervous system. This combination allows for a synergistic effect, potentially providing superior pain relief compared to either component alone.
