Overview
Ananda Scientific CBD Formulation (also known as Nantheia ATL5 and Nantheia A1002N5S) is an investigational, orally administered formulation of cannabidiol (CBD) developed using the proprietary Liquid Structure™ delivery technology. This technology, licensed from Lyotropic Delivery Systems (LDS), enhances the bioavailability, water solubility, and stability of CBD by utilizing a lyotropic self-assembled nanostructured delivery system. The formulation is delivered in soft gelatin capsules designed to rapidly solubilize in aqueous intestinal fluids, facilitating efficient absorption into the bloodstream. ANANDA Scientific is developing this formulation for various neuropsychiatric and pain indications, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), opioid use disorder (OUD), social anxiety disorder (SAD), radiculopathic pain, and smoking cessation, with several Phase 2 clinical trials underway.
