Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ANB102 is an extended half-life monoclonal antibody that acts as a BDCA2 modulator, specifically targeting the C-type lectin domain family 4 member C (BDCA2) on plasmacytoid dendritic cells. By modulating BDCA2, ANB102 aims to inhibit interferon secretion and antigen presentation, processes implicated in the pathogenesis of systemic autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. The drug is designed for less frequent dosing (potentially quarterly or less), which may improve patient compliance. Originally developed by Centessa Pharmaceuticals, ANB102 was licensed to AnaptysBio in late 2023 for further development in autoimmune and inflammatory indications[1][7][8].
