Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Ancer** is a non-specific trade-name query rather than one uniquely identifiable drug. In Japan, Ancer is the Zeria product containing Z-100, a hot-water extract of *Mycobacterium tuberculosis* strain Aoyama B, marketed for leukopenia associated with radiotherapy and investigated with radiotherapy for cervical cancer. Separately, Indian medicine listings use Ancer for a fixed-dose common-cold tablet containing caffeine, levocetirizine, paracetamol, and phenylephrine. These products have different active substances, mechanisms, dosage forms, developers, and indications, so they must not be merged into one drug record.
