Androbloc

Androbloc is a nonsteroidal antiandrogen medication containing bicalutamide, developed and marketed by G.L Pharma. It works by competitively antagonizing the androgen receptor, thereby blocking the action of testosterone and other androgens that stimulate the growth of prostate cancer cells. Androbloc is primarily indicated for the treatment of advanced prostate cancer, often in combination with luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) analogues or surgical castration, and for locally advanced prostate cancer as monotherapy or adjuvant treatment. It is administered orally as film-coated tablets in 50 mg and 150 mg strengths.
