Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Anerning particle (also known as Anerning granules or Anerning Keli) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation, often categorized as a Tibetan medicine, primarily used in pediatric care for respiratory tract infections. It is composed of multiple herbal ingredients intended to clear heat, resolve phlegm, and alleviate cough. In clinical research led by the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, Anerning particle is being evaluated in Phase 4 trials as an adjunctive therapy to ceftriaxone sodium for children with community-acquired pneumonia (CAP). The primary objective of these studies is to determine if the addition of Anerning can improve clinical outcomes and facilitate a reduction in the total duration and dosage of antibiotic treatment required for recovery.
