Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Anflu** is Sinovac's preservative-free, unadjuvanted seasonal **trivalent inactivated split-virion influenza vaccine**. It is produced from WHO-recommended influenza strains propagated in embryonated chicken eggs, then harvested, inactivated, purified, and disrupted. The product is designed to induce strain-specific humoral immunity against the included influenza A/H1N1, influenza A/H3N2, and influenza B vaccine strains for prevention of seasonal influenza. Anflu was introduced into clinical trials in 2003, launched in China in 2006, and its approved population includes individuals aged 6 months and older.
