Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ANG-101 is a novel therapeutic vaccine developed by Angany for the treatment of cat allergy. It represents a new class of biologic based on Angany’s proprietary eBioparticle-Potentiated Immunotherapy technology. The active immunotherapeutic ingredient is a 140 nm enveloped bioparticle (eBioparticle) that mimics a virus in shape and size, with its surface densely coated with thousands of copies of the cat major allergen Fel d 1. This design aims to induce immune tolerance and provide disease-modifying effects for individuals allergic to cats. ANG-101 has demonstrated significant hypoallergenicity compared to commercial cat dander extracts and has shown an excellent safety profile in first-in-human clinical trials[1][4][6][7]. The vaccine is administered as an injection, with ongoing development focused on further clinical evaluation.
