ANG siRNA is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) designed to silence the expression of the **angiogenin (ANG)** gene. Angiogenin is a member of the RNase A family that plays a critical role in promoting cellular proliferation, migration, and angiogenesis, particularly in several malignancies. In preclinical research involving bladder cancer cell lines (such as KU7 and T24), the use of ANG siRNA has been shown to inhibit tumor cell growth and anchorage-independent growth by mediating the dephosphorylation of ERK1/2 and JNK/SAPK. Furthermore, knocking down ANG expression via siRNA significantly inhibits the migration and invasion of cancer cells and reduces their ability to induce tube formation in endothelial cells, suggesting that ANG is a viable therapeutic target for inhibiting tumor progression and angiogenesis.
