Overview

ANGE-S002 is an investigational cell therapy consisting of human neural stem cells (hNSCs) developed for the treatment of spinal cord injury (SCI). The therapy is designed to facilitate neurological recovery by promoting axonal regeneration, providing neurotrophic support, and modulating the inflammatory response at the site of injury. It is currently being evaluated in a Phase 1, single-arm, dose-escalation clinical trial (ChiCTR2200059595) in China, targeting adults with subacute to chronic thoracic or lumbar spinal cord injuries (ASIA grade A–D). The study aims to assess the safety and preliminary efficacy of four ascending cell-dose cohorts, using neurological and functional outcomes such as ASIA scores and the Functional Independence Measure (FIM) as primary and secondary endpoints.
