Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Angeloxin** is a fusion toxin protein in preclinical development as an anti-cancer agent. It consists of deimmunized diphtheria toxin (DT) fused to interleukin-2 (IL-2), designed to target and kill cancer cells expressing IL-2 receptors, which are often upregulated on tumor cells and regulatory T cells in the tumor microenvironment. Developed by Angelica Therapeutics, it leverages the cytotoxic activity of DT to selectively induce cell death in targeted cancer cells while minimizing immunogenicity through deimmunization.
