Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AngioNorm (АнгиоНорм) is a multi-component herbal pharmaceutical product developed and marketed by OTCPharm (Otisipharm) in Russia. It is formulated as 100 mg film-coated tablets containing a dry extract derived from a standardized mixture of four medicinal plants: hawthorn fruits (*Crataegus*), licorice roots (*Glycyrrhiza*), horse chestnut seeds (*Aesculus hippocastanum*), and rose hip fruits (*Rosa*). The drug is standardized to contain flavonoids, specifically calculated as avicularin. AngioNorm is positioned as a systemic angioprotector with a complex pharmacological profile that includes antiplatelet, antithrombotic, angioprotective, and anti-inflammatory properties. It is primarily indicated for the symptomatic treatment of varicose veins and chronic venous insufficiency, where it works to improve microcirculation, enhance venous tone, and reduce the risk of thrombosis. It is available as an over-the-counter (OTC) medication.
