Overview

Angipars is a botanical drug developed by Pars Roos Biotechnology Co., derived from a standardized extract of *Melilotus officinalis* (Yellow Sweet Clover). It was first approved in Iran for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers, where it is utilized in both oral and topical forms to promote wound healing. The therapeutic effects of Angipars are attributed to its complex mixture of phytochemicals, including coumarins, flavonoids, and tannins, which collectively improve microcirculation, reduce edema, and exhibit potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. In addition to its established use in wound care, Angipars has been evaluated in Phase II clinical trials for primary pulmonary hypertension, aiming to leverage its vasodilatory and anti-remodeling effects to reduce pulmonary artery pressure and improve patient quality of life.
