Drug intelligence / Profile preview
AnHorn Medicines is developing a Tau-targeted protein degrader using its proprietary BIGPRO® (Bifunctional Group-driven PROteolysis) platform. This therapeutic candidate is designed to selectively degrade the Tau protein, which is a key driver in the pathogenesis of various tauopathies, including Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. By utilizing the ubiquitin-proteasome system to eliminate pathological Tau aggregates, the drug aims to halt or reverse disease progression. It is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
