Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ANK-102 is an investigational cytokine therapy being developed by Ankyra Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors. Currently in the preclinical stage, ANK-102 is an Interleukin-15 (IL-15) based immunotherapy designed to enhance the recruitment, activation, and proliferation of natural killer (NK) cells and CD8+ T cells within the tumor microenvironment. The drug is developed using Ankyra's proprietary platform, which focuses on 'anchored' localized delivery. This approach aims to maintain high concentrations of the cytokine within the injected tumor to drive a potent local and systemic anti-tumor immune response while minimizing the systemic toxicities typically associated with systemic IL-15 administration.
