Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ANK-201 is an investigational, alum-anchored antibody drug conjugate being developed by Ankyra Therapeutics for the local treatment of solid tumors. Preclinical data describe it as an alum-anchored CD40 antibody drug conjugate that enhances CD40 signaling within the tumor microenvironment, promotes local anti-tumor immunity, and achieves therapeutic anti-tumor activity with reduced systemic exposure and toxicity in murine models. By stably anchoring the CD40-directed antibody construct to alum at the injection site, ANK-201 is designed to concentrate immune activation locally, thereby improving the therapeutic window relative to systemically delivered CD40 agonists and positioning it as a candidate for clinical translation in oncology.
