Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ANK-301 is a dual-targeting bi-agonist being developed by Ankyra Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors. It is designed to simultaneously engage CD40 and deliver Interleukin-2 (IL-2) signaling to the tumor microenvironment. By targeting CD40, the drug aims to activate antigen-presenting cells (APCs) and enhance T-cell priming, while the IL-2 component promotes the expansion and effector function of cytotoxic T cells and natural killer (NK) cells. This synergistic approach is intended to overcome immune suppression and drive robust anti-tumor immune responses. The molecule is part of Ankyra's platform designed for localized, anchored delivery to minimize systemic toxicity while maximizing local therapeutic effect. As of early 2024, the program is in the discovery stage.
