Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ANK-302 is an investigational bi-agonist immunotherapy being developed by Ankyra Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors. It is designed to simultaneously engage the CD28 co-stimulatory pathway and the Interleukin-2 (IL-2) signaling pathway. By dual-targeting these mechanisms, ANK-302 aims to enhance the activation, proliferation, and persistence of tumor-reactive T cells within the tumor microenvironment. This approach is intended to provide potent anti-tumor activity while potentially improving the safety profile compared to systemic cytokine therapies by localizing the immune stimulation. As of early 2024, the program is in the discovery stage of development.
