ANK-700

ANK-700 is an investigational immunotherapy developed by Anokion for the treatment of relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS). It is based on antigen-specific immune tolerance technology and encompasses a previously identified myelin antigen implicated in driving multiple sclerosis. The drug is designed to re-educate the immune system by inducing antigen-specific tolerance to myelin-based autoantigens, thereby reducing neuroinflammation in the brain and spinal cord. ANK-700 utilizes a liver-targeting glycosylation signature for targeted delivery, aiming to restore normal immune tolerance and address the underlying cause of autoimmune disease. It is administered intravenously and has completed Phase 1 clinical trials evaluating safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and immunological biomarker responses.
