Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Anlotinib is a novel small-molecule multi-kinase inhibitor that selectively targets vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR1/2/3), fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFR1/2/3/4), platelet-derived growth factor receptors (PDGFRα/β), and c-Kit. Developed by Chia Tai Tianqing Pharmaceutical Group, it functions as an anti-angiogenic and anti-tumor agent. In the context of the ALTER-H004 trial, anlotinib is being evaluated in combination with transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) as an adjuvant therapy for patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) who are at high risk of recurrence following surgical resection. The regimen typically involves a TACE procedure followed by oral administration of anlotinib hydrochloride.
