Overview

Anlotinib + cadonilimab is a combination therapy consisting of two agents with distinct mechanisms of action. Anlotinib is a small molecule multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor that inhibits angiogenesis and tumor cell proliferation by targeting receptors such as VEGFR, FGFR, PDGFR, and c-Kit. Cadonilimab is a bispecific monoclonal antibody that simultaneously targets programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) and cytotoxic T lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 (CTLA-4), functioning as an immune checkpoint inhibitor to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. This combination has been investigated in clinical trials for advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), pulmonary large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (LCNEC), cervical cancer, and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, particularly in patients who are resistant to prior immunotherapy or chemotherapy. The regimen aims to provide synergistic anti-tumor effects by combining antiangiogenic therapy with dual checkpoint blockade[1][2][3][4][5][7].
