Overview

Anlotinib + cyclophosphamide + vinorelbine is a combination chemotherapy and targeted therapy regimen being investigated by Sun Yat-sen University for the maintenance treatment of children with intermediate-high risk rhabdomyosarcoma. Anlotinib is a multi-targeted tyrosine kinase inhibitor that suppresses tumor angiogenesis and growth by inhibiting VEGFR1/2/3, FGFR1-4, PDGFRα/β, and c-Kit. Cyclophosphamide is an alkylating agent that cross-links DNA, preventing cell replication. Vinorelbine is a semi-synthetic vinca alkaloid that binds to tubulin, inhibiting microtubule assembly and inducing mitotic arrest. This oral regimen is evaluated in Phase II trials to improve long-term survival and response duration in pediatric patients following standard therapy.
