Anlotinib + nab-paclitaxel is a combination regimen of two pharmaceutical agents used primarily in oncology clinical trials. Anlotinib is a novel oral small-molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) that targets multiple receptors involved in tumor angiogenesis and proliferation, including vascular endothelial growth factor receptors (VEGFR1-3), fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFR1-4), platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha and beta (PDGFRα/β), and stem cell factor receptor. Nab-paclitaxel is the nanoparticle albumin-bound formulation of paclitaxel, a microtubule inhibitor that disrupts cell division by stabilizing microtubules. The combination aims to synergistically inhibit tumor growth by blocking angiogenesis and directly targeting cancer cell mitosis. This regimen has been investigated as second-line or later therapy for advanced gastric cancer[6], as well as in other solid tumors such as pancreatic adenocarcinoma[2] and triple-negative breast cancer[8]. Clinical studies suggest promising efficacy with manageable toxicity profiles.
