Overview

ANN-003 is a gene therapy candidate developed for the treatment of Friedreich's ataxia. It was initially part of Annapurna Therapeutics SAS's pipeline, having been licensed from Weill Cornell Medicine. Following the acquisition of Annapurna Therapeutics by Avalanche Biotechnologies (which was subsequently renamed Adverum Biotechnologies), ANN-003 became part of the combined company's gene therapy portfolio, focusing on rare genetic diseases.
