Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ANN-101 is a once-weekly transdermal GLP-1 receptor agonist patch being developed by Anodyne Devices for the treatment of obesity. It utilizes the proprietary HeroPatch™ microneedle platform, which consists of dissolvable microneedles designed to deliver biologics and peptides through the skin in a needle-free, controlled manner. By providing sustained delivery over a one-week period, ANN-101 aims to offer a more patient-friendly alternative to traditional subcutaneous injections of GLP-1 medications. The asset is currently in the IND-enabling phase with clinical trials anticipated to begin in 2026.
