Overview

ANO31905 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Anova Innovation Limited that specifically targets Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2), a tight junction protein frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors, including gastric and pancreatic adenocarcinomas. By binding to CLDN18.2 on the surface of tumor cells, ANO31905 is designed to mediate anti-tumor activity through immune-mediated mechanisms such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) and complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC). The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase Ib/II clinical trials as a first-line treatment for patients with CLDN18.2-positive locally advanced or metastatic pancreatic cancer, where it is administered in combination with standard chemotherapy regimens including gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel.
