Overview

ANOC-001 is a novel T-cell receptor-engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy developed by Anocca for the treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer. It specifically targets the mutant KRAS G12V, an oncogenic driver mutation found in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). ANOC-001 is notable as the first non-viral gene-edited TCR-T cell therapy to receive regulatory approval for clinical trials in Europe. The drug will be evaluated as part of the VIDAR-1 Phase I/II multi-product umbrella trial, which aims to enroll patients with KRAS-positive advanced pancreatic cancer whose tumors express specific human leukocyte antigen (HLA) types and KRAS mutations matching the product. The therapy is manufactured in-house at Anocca’s cGMP facility and represents a new approach to precision immunotherapy by harnessing engineered T cells to recognize and attack tumor cells harboring specific genetic mutations[1][2][3][5][7].
