Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ANP001B is a proprietary, nano-encapsulating polymer-based drug delivery platform developed by ANP Technologies. It is designed as a 'Plug and Play' excipient to improve the solubility, pharmacokinetics, safety, and biodistribution of various active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), particularly those that are poorly soluble. The platform has been successfully utilized in the chemotherapy drug FID-007 (a nanoparticle formulation of paclitaxel) for the treatment of solid tumors in clinical trials. ANP001B is administered via intravenous injection and its Drug Master File (DMF #36513) was accepted by the U.S. FDA in June 2022.
