Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ANS014004 + osimertinib is a combination therapy being evaluated for the treatment of EGFR mutation-positive locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). ANS014004 is a novel small-molecule type II c-Met tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) developed by Beijing Pearl Biotechnology, a subsidiary of Avistone Biotechnology. It is designed to inhibit the MET protein, which is a common driver of resistance to EGFR-targeted therapies. Osimertinib is a third-generation, irreversible EGFR TKI that targets both sensitizing EGFR mutations and the T790M resistance mutation. By combining these two agents, the treatment aims to overcome or delay resistance mediated by the MET pathway while maintaining suppression of the primary EGFR driver, potentially providing a more durable clinical benefit for patients with advanced lung cancer.
