Overview
Anshen Bunao Liquid is a traditional Chinese patent medicine (TCM) formulated to treat neurasthenia, insomnia, dizziness, fatigue, and amnesia caused by kidney essence deficiency and qi-blood insufficiency. It is a multi-herb botanical compound preparation containing Herba Epimedii, Radix Polygoni Multiflori Preparata, Rhizoma Zingiberis, Radix Glycyrrhizae, Fructus Jujubae, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, and Vitamin B6. The formulation acts through a network of multiple components, targets, and pathways. Recent research suggests it also exerts anxiolytic effects by modulating neuroinflammation, maintaining intestinal barrier integrity, and regulating gut microbiota.
