Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ansin-aek is a liquid herbal medicine developed and manufactured by Iksu Pharmaceutical, based on the traditional Korean/Chinese formula Cheonwangbosim-dan. It is registered as an over-the-counter (OTC) pharmaceutical in South Korea, primarily indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with psychological distress, including anxiety, tension, insomnia, palpitations, and forgetfulness. The formulation consists of a complex mixture of 13 herbal extracts, such as Rehmannia glutinosa, Panax ginseng, and Ziziphus jujuba, which work synergistically to nourish the blood and yin, thereby stabilizing the autonomic nervous system and providing sedative effects. As a liquid formulation, it is designed for easier consumption and faster absorption compared to traditional pill forms of the same prescription.
