Overview

Ansuvimab + atoltivimab + maftivimab + odesivimab is a proposed antibody-based combination regimen for Ebola virus disease that would pair the single monoclonal antibody ansuvimab (Ebanga), which targets the receptor-binding domain of the Zaire ebolavirus glycoprotein and blocks its interaction with the Niemann-Pick C1 (NPC1) receptor, with the fixed triple-antibody cocktail atoltivimab/maftivimab/odesivimab (Inmazeb/REGN‑EB3), whose three human IgG1κ monoclonal antibodies simultaneously bind non‑overlapping epitopes on the same glycoprotein to neutralize virus and promote Fc‑mediated effector functions.[3][6][7] Together, these four monoclonal antibodies are intended to provide multi-epitope coverage of the Zaire ebolavirus glycoprotein, reducing the likelihood of escape mutants and enhancing viral neutralization and clearance through complementary mechanisms, although this exact four‑antibody combination has not been established as an approved, co‑formulated product in clinical practice.[3][6][7]
