Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ANT-01 is an investigational adjunctive anti-depression drug developed by ANeuroTech for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). It is a low-dose (15mg) oral formulation of pipamperone dihydrochloride, an existing typical antipsychotic. ANT-01 acts as a highly selective serotonin 5-HT2A and dopamine D4 receptor antagonist. It aims to improve emotional blunting and cognitive function in MDD patients who have an insufficient response to first-line antidepressants (SSRIs/SNRI), with a favorable safety profile.
