Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ANT058 is a preclinical-stage small molecule drug candidate being developed by Cambium Oncology. It is designed to target the Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide (VIP) and its associated receptors (VPAC1 and VPAC2), collectively referred to as the VIP/VPAC axis. This axis functions as a neuroimmune checkpoint that tumors often exploit to create an immunosuppressive microenvironment. By antagonizing these receptors, ANT058 aims to restore immune surveillance and enhance the anti-tumor activity of the immune system. The drug is currently being investigated for the treatment of hematologic malignancies, specifically Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).
