Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Dott Allergy Eyes is an over-the-counter (OTC) dual-action ophthalmic and nasal formulation developed by Amman Pharmaceutical Industries under its Apisal product line. It combines the first-generation antihistamine antazoline with the sympathomimetic decongestant naphazoline. Antazoline acts as a selective histamine H1 receptor antagonist to alleviate ocular itching, watering, and allergic rhinitis symptoms. Naphazoline acts as an alpha-adrenergic receptor agonist, constricting conjunctival and nasal mucosal blood vessels to rapidly reduce redness, congestion, and swelling. Dott Allergy Eyes is approved and marketed for the temporary relief of allergic conjunctivitis and associated eye and nasal allergy symptoms.
