Overview

ANTG-ASC + fibrin glue is an investigational, locally administered combination therapy developed by Anterogen for Crohn's fistula, including complex perianal fistulas. It combines patient-derived, culture-expanded autologous adipose-derived mesenchymal stromal cells with fibrin glue, which serves as a local sealing and cell-retention matrix within the fistula tract. The cellular component is intended to promote fistula healing through local immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, trophic, and tissue-repair activities, while the fibrin matrix provides a scaffold for localized delivery. Anterogen's randomized Phase 3 study, ANTG-ASC-301, compares the ASC-plus-fibrin-glue regimen with fibrin glue alone in patients with Crohn's fistula.
