Overview

LRA, or anthocyanins extracted from black wolfberry (Lycium ruthenicum), is a natural compound known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It has been investigated for its therapeutic potential in treating ulcerative colitis, a chronic inflammatory bowel disease. In a DSS-induced mouse model, LRA exhibited an inverted U-shaped dose response, with the 100 mg/kg dose showing the most effectiveness.
