Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Anti-Angin Formula is a combination pharmaceutical product containing chlorhexidine diacetate, tetracaine hydrochloride, and ascorbic acid. It is primarily indicated for the prevention and treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx, such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, stomatitis, and gingivitis. The formulation works through a triple action: chlorhexidine acts as a broad-spectrum antiseptic against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and fungi; tetracaine provides rapid local anesthesia to alleviate sore throat pain; and ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) supports tissue regeneration and immune response. Developed by Natur Produkt and distributed by companies such as Bausch Health (formerly Valeant), the drug is available in lozenge, tablet, and topical spray formats for local application.
