anti-ANXA3 antibody

Anti-ANXA3 antibody is a therapeutic monoclonal antibody designed to target and block Annexin A3 (ANXA3), a protein identified as a key driver of resistance to standard-of-care treatments like sorafenib and regorafenib in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). ANXA3 is highly enriched in resistant HCC cells and patient-derived xenografts, where it functions to suppress PKCδ/p38-associated apoptosis and activate autophagy to promote cell survival. By inhibiting ANXA3, this antibody-mediated blockade impairs tumor growth in vivo and sensitizes HCC cells to kinase inhibitors. Research presented at AACR 2018 suggests that ANXA3 could also serve as a predictive biomarker for patient response to sorafenib treatment.
