Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The anti-B27 antibody is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody developed by ImmunOs Therapeutics for the treatment of autoimmune disorders. It specifically targets HLA-B27, a human leukocyte antigen variant that is strongly associated with the development of spondyloarthropathies, including ankylosing spondylitis, reactive arthritis, and psoriatic arthritis. The antibody is designed to modulate the immune response by interfering with the pathogenic role of HLA-B27 in presenting arthritogenic peptides or forming homodimers that trigger inflammatory pathways. As of late 2021, the program remains in the preclinical phase of development.
