Overview

Anti-B7-H3-UCAR-T is an allogeneic, "universal" chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting B7-H3 (CD276), a checkpoint molecule overexpressed in various solid tumors, including sarcomas. Developed by Shanghai Changzheng Hospital, this therapy utilizes T-cells from healthy donors that are genetically modified to express a CAR specific for B7-H3 and further engineered to reduce the risk of graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and host-versus-graft rejection, allowing for "off-the-shelf" administration. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for patients with relapsed or refractory bone and soft tissue sarcomas after failure of standard therapies.
