Overview

Anti-BCMA CAR-T cells are a type of adoptive cell therapy where a patient's T cells are genetically engineered to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) that specifically targets the B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) found on the surface of multiple myeloma cells. This therapy aims to redirect the patient's immune system to recognize and eliminate cancer cells. It has shown promising results in treating relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM), extramedullary multiple myeloma (EMM), plasma cell leukemia (PCL), and has been explored for POEMS syndrome.
