Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The Anti-Candida Antibody Cocktail is a therapeutic product under development by Autoimmune Technologies and its subsidiary, Stadius Biopharma LLC. It consists of a combination of monoclonal antibodies specifically designed to target and neutralize antigens from *Candida albicans* and *Candida auris*. The primary indications for this cocktail are disseminated candidiasis and hospital-acquired bloodstream infections. The mechanism of action involves the neutralization and opsonization of fungal cells, which promotes their clearance by the host's immune system. Notably, the development of this drug utilizes a proprietary Stem Cell Based Antibody Delivery Platform, which employs adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADMSCs) and episomal gene therapy to facilitate the in vivo production of the antibody cocktail.
