Overview

Anti-CD19-CAR is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy being developed by Kecellitics Biotech Company Ltd for the treatment of CD19-positive B-cell malignancies. The therapy involves the genetic modification of a patient's own T cells to express a CAR targeting CD19, a surface antigen consistently expressed on B-lineage cells. Following lymphodepleting chemotherapy, the engineered cells are infused back into the patient where they recognize and eliminate CD19-positive malignant B cells through targeted cytotoxicity. Originally developed by Beijing Win Win Technology Co., Ltd., this therapy is currently being investigated in Phase I clinical trials focusing on children and young adults with relapsed or refractory B-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia (B-ALL) and B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-cell NHL).
