Drug intelligence / Profile preview
anti-CD19 CAR-T is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University. The therapy involves the ex vivo modification of a patient's own T cells to express a CAR targeting the CD19 antigen, which is highly expressed on B-cell lineage cells. This treatment is specifically being investigated in Phase I clinical trials as a consolidative therapy followed by allogeneic stem cell transplantation for patients with refractory B-cell malignancies, including B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and various B-cell lymphomas.
