Overview

Anti-CD19 CAR-T (The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University) is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy. It is being developed by The First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell malignancies, including acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and various lymphomas. The therapy works by engineering a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that specifically targets the CD19 antigen, a protein widely expressed on the surface of B-lineage cells. Upon infusion, these modified T cells recognize and eliminate CD19-positive cancerous cells through direct cytotoxic activity. The therapy is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials to determine its safety and efficacy profile in adult patients.
