anti-CD22 is a monoclonal antibody currently in preclinical development by UDIBI-IPN (Unidad de Desarrollo e Investigación en Bioprocesos - Instituto Politécnico Nacional) for the treatment of cancer. The antibody specifically targets CD22 (B-lymphocyte antigen CD22), a transmembrane protein primarily expressed on the surface of mature B cells and overexpressed in various B-cell malignancies, including non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). By binding to CD22, the antibody may trigger internalization or mediate immune-effector functions such as antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) to eliminate malignant B cells. As a target-specific therapeutic, it aims to provide a more selective treatment option for hematologic cancers.
