Overview

anti-CD22-41BB CAR-T is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by Xuzhou Medical University for the treatment of B-cell malignancies. The therapy consists of T cells genetically engineered to express a CAR comprising an anti-CD22 single-chain variable fragment (scFv) linked to a 4-1BB (CD137) costimulatory domain and a CD3-zeta signaling domain. In clinical trials, this agent is primarily evaluated as part of a 'mixed infusion' or 'cocktail' strategy, where it is administered simultaneously with an anti-CD19 CAR-T cell product (αCD19-TCRz-41BB). This dual-targeting approach is designed to prevent tumor escape and reduce the incidence of relapse associated with CD19 antigen loss in patients with refractory or recurrent B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) and B-cell lymphoma.
